Two friends and I attended Make Your Own Soy Candles on June 3. It was such a lovely way to spend an afternoon! Tanya has created a welcoming and beautiful creative space in Kingston Road Village. Mooi Maker Kasia, who led the course, was very knowledgeable and led us through the creation of six candles using soy wax, essential oils, and colouring. In less than three hours we had personalized works of art perfect for giving as gifts… if I can bring myself to part with one of them! I will definitely attend another workshop soon.

A fantastic community creative space in Kingston Road Village. Tanya is a wonderful host (and supplied us with fresh baked treats to keep us going as we created). I thoroughly enjoyed the Finding Home India Ink workshop with Kathryn Boyd - a talented artist with a wealth of knowledge. She led us in guided meditation to start before diving into creating. I will definitely take more workshops at Studio Mooi.

I have taken many workshops at this lovely studio and have thoroughly enjoyed each one. Tanya is very welcoming and down to earth. Her studio always looks great. Tanya is definitely a very creative person and it's so great to have this studio in our Upper Beaches. Each workshop is set up to be very fun and casual. I've attended so many workshops here it feels like a second home. Looking forward to the next one!

I attended a painting with wool workshop and had a great experience. The owner was lovely and very welcoming. We were provided with all materials and refreshments including delicious banana bread. The instructor was informative, helpful and encouraging. It was a fun night and I was happy with the way my piece turned out. I would attend another workshop.

What a gem in the Upper Beaches! My daughter and I had a wonderful afternoon learning a new craft and walking a way with a special keepsake. Thanks to the Studio Mooi team for a fun afternoon, (which didn’t involve a screen).

I have taken four workshops at Studio Mooi now and loved each one. I felt welcomed as soon as I first stepped through the front door. The Studio offers an incredibly diverse range of arts and crafts workshops - there is something for everyone. The instructors are talented; they excel at their crafts and they offer a wonderful learning experience, where you can feel free to experiment. Tanya, who owns Studio Mooi, has created a lovely studio space; bright and cheery, the perfect place to come out and play with a new craft and have fun.

I took the amigurumi course with Victoria about a month ago. Such a welcoming, non competitive, warm environment! We all ended our course with our project finished. Tanya has a hawk eye for details and make sure your experience is good. Beautiful space to learn, buy a gift, and share

The wool painting class was really engaging and the teachers explained it in a simple, easy-to-understand way. It had a very friendly and inviting atmosphere, with art to look at everywhere! I was very proud of the end result, despite having no experience. I’m really thankful to have been a part of it!! :)

The experience of creating my beautiful resin cheese board was beyond what I had hoped it would be. We were greeted with cups of tea and made to feel at home. The environment was welcoming to all skill levels and the owner and instructor worked with each of us individually to assist us in bringing our visions to life. The experience was very hands-on and filled my creative cup up. I would happily attend future workshops!
